Respiratory Therapists

Ginny Oksten, CRT
Virginia (Ginny) Oksten has been in Respiratory for 28 years, earning her degree in 1992. Over the years she has worked with a variety of patients; emergency care, with pediatric and adult ventilator patients. Currently, Ginny works with Pulmonary Rehabilitation patients at Advantage Therapy Centers and with CPAP, Auto PAP, and BiPAP patients for Advantage Sleep Centers, where she educates them on OSA, equipment, and insurance guidelines. Ginny enjoys being able to help educate patients with breathing & exercise techniques that will improve their quality of life, as well as her OSA patients that will benefit from their PAP therapy. Outside of work, Ginny enjoys spending time with her family, crocheting, and crafting.

Beth Anderson, RRT
Beth Anderson is a Respiratory Therapist at our Cherry Hill, Location. She has worked at Advantage Therapy Centers since 2005. She received her associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy at Hahnemann University. She has over 30 years of experience. She enjoys helping our patients progress with therapy and perform tasks they may have thought impossible when beginning the program.

Colette Gaines, RRT-ACCS
Colette is a Respiratory Therapist at all of our Advantage locations. She has worked at Advantage Therapy Centers since 2017. She received her associate’s degree in respiratory therapy from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She loves helping our patients progress in the gym, and educating our Obstructive Sleep Apnea patients on the use of CPAP equipment to help them breathe and sleep better at night. Colette believes Advantage is a great place to work with friendly, hard-working co-workers and patients.
Physical Therapists

Rocco Gervasi, PT, DPT
Rocco is the Clinical Director of Physical Therapy at Advantage Therapy Centers. Rocco received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Medicine and Dentistry. He has over 8 years of experience in PT. Rocco loves his career. He finds it rewarding to interact and connect with people. He enjoys helping people become a healthier version of themselves by utilizing physical and nutritional strategies. Rocco finds it imperative to continue to research new approaches in medical physiology in order to offer nutritional and exercise counseling, and network with other driven individuals.

Samantha Shalit-Scriptunas, DPT
Samantha (Sami) Shalit-Scriptunas is a Physical Therapist at our Cherry Hill office. Sami received a bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in Aquatic Therapy. She continued her education at West Virginia University, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has a love for innovation, using new techniques, and research to apply the best practices in physical therapy. Sami is certified in kinesio taping, cupping, and IASTYM. Since living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome she has become EDS ECHO certified as well. Her practice interests include geriatrics, pulmonary therapy, orthopedics, and dysautonomia therapy with the ultimate goal of helping all patients achieve the best outcomes possible. In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world, sports, video games, and music.

Heather McDevitt, PT, PTA
Heather is a Physical Therapist assistant with 20 years of experience and have an associates degree from ACCC in applied science. I work with and under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to carry out the patient’s plan of care. Treatments include education and proper breathing techniques to increase endurance/movement, improve oxygen intake, promote cardiovascular and pulmonary health along with increasing their quality of life. The best part of my job is to help patients to continue to live independently and to continue their roles in the home, at work, and in the community.

Sunny Shah, PT, DPT
Sunny Shah graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in May 2017 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. His primary clinical interests include orthopedic manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and working with athletes and active adults of various ages. He is an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is certified in Vestibular and Concussion Rehabilitation through the American Institute of Balance. He believes the most important part of physical therapy is developing programs tailored for each individual patient. He does this through corrective exercise, manual therapy, and patient education. In his spare time, Sunny enjoys weightlifting, running, playing tennis, watching documentaries; he is a passionate sports fan.

Luke Hart, PT, PTA
Luke graduated from Delaware Technical Community College summa cum laude and holds a physical therapist assistant license in New Jersey. He has been teaching Qi Gong, Bagua, and Tai Chi for over 10 years with ongoing classes for all levels of students. He has also studied clinical Qi Gong for Healing and has completed the second level of their training. Luke seeks to integrate his knowledge of the human body and experience with Tai Chi to help his patients and students in their endeavors to facilitate more efficient patterns of movement in their daily lives.

Katherine Maratea, PT, PTA
Katherine Maratea graduated valedictorian from Mercer County Community College with an associate’s in Applied Sciences. She joined the Advantage team in October 2022. As a retired professional figure skater Katherine hopes to put smiles on her patients faces and support them in their goals the best she can. In her free time, Katherine enjoys going to live events such as plays and ice hockey games, and loves all things Disney.

Nicholas Pancelli, PT, DPT
Nick is a physical therapist at Advantage Therapy Centers. He received his bachelor’s degree in health science and minored in business studies at Stockton University. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University. Nick has had extensive experience treating patients with neurological conditions, amputations, acute injuries, and chronic injuries. Nick is also certified to provide LSVT Big treatment to the Parkinson’s population. Nick is passionate about empowering his patients on their road to recovery and building a strong bond with each individual patient. Nick loves Philly sports, lifting weights, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Occupational Therapists

Kaltrina Pacuku
MOT, OTR/L, C-PAM, MSCS
Kaltrina, also known as “Kat,” is the Director of our Occupational Therapy Department at Advantage Therapy Centers. She graduated with her Bachelors in Health Sciences and Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Sciences in 2015. Kat has experience in both inpatient and outpatient therapy services. She is always working toward advancing her skills to provide exceptional treatment and has acquired specialties in Multiple Sclerosis, Graston, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and more. Kat knows that no single approach is right for every individual and provides quality, individualized care for all of her patients.

Erika Hamawandi
MSOT, OTR/L
Erika has been an Occupational Therapist in our Mt Laurel, NJ location since May 2021. She completed the Master’s Degree of Science in Occupational Therapy at Salus University in Elkins Park, PA. Erika has experience in outpatient and home care settings and especially enjoys working with the older adult population. Erika loves to relate to her patients on a personal level and to help them leave therapy sessions with a positive outlook. Erika enjoys entertaining her dog in her free time, going for nature walks, ballet dancing, and watching movies.

Alyssa Casanova
MSOT, OTR/L
Alyssa joined the Advantage Team in June 2022. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Minor in Holistic Health, and Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Stockton University. Alyssa has experience supporting individuals throughout the lifespan, treating a range of orthopedic, developmental, and neurological conditions. She has a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others and is motivated to continuously expand her knowledge to provide the most current and optimal treatments. Alyssa values the importance of connecting with her patients to individualize their experience and improve their outcome. In her personal time, she enjoys hiking, weightlifting, listening to music and podcasts, painting, and spending time with family and friends.

Alexa Pritchard, OTR/L
Alexa is an Occupational Therapist at the Washington Township location. Alexa joined the Advantage Therapy team in October 2021. She attended Stockton University to earn her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Alexa enjoys being a part of the multidisciplinary approach to provide the best therapeutic experience for her patients. In her free time, she likes spending time at the beach, walking her dog, and cheering on Philadelphia sports teams.

Nicole Marchetti, MOT, OTR/L
Nicole graduated with her Bachelors in Health Sciences from West Chester University and Masters in Occupational Therapy from St. Joseph’s University in January 2023. Nicole has experience working with older adults in the inpatient and outpatient settings. She has a passion for helping individuals meet their goals in life and is always looking to learn. In her free time, Nicole enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Courtney Croft MOT, OTR/L
Courtney joined the Advantage Therapy team in September 2022 and primarily works in the Washington Township office. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rowan University and her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Courtney has experience treating individuals across the lifespan in multiple settings. She enjoys getting to know her patients personally and helping them achieve their goals. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching Philly sports, and baking.

Samantha Barcia, OTR/L
Samantha joined the Advantage Team in May 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Stockton University. Samantha has experience in sub-acute rehabilitation, treating a range of cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. She values the importance of building a rapport with her patients in order to maximize their health, well-being, and quality of life. In her personal time, Samantha enjoys spending time with her daughter and playing ice hockey with her friends.

Jodi Koutsovitis, CSW
Jodi is a Program Coordinator here at Advantage Therapy Centers. She has worked at Advantage Therapy centers since 2012. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and later completed a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. She has been supporting, encouraging, and advocating for seniors and disabled persons throughout her career. She has 25 years of experience working in the healthcare field including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Adult Medicare Day Care, and Adult Retirement Community.
As a Program Coordinator, she works with patients and family members to ensure that their needs are addressed by providing education related to coping with chronic lung disease including disease and symptom management and providing them access to community resources to meet their physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Jodi loves the opportunity to provide compassionate support and education to enable patients to achieve the highest level of quality of life. Jodi finds it rewarding to witness patients’ increased confidence and ability to manage their breathing issues as a result of participating in the program.

Stephanie Pilson, CSW
Stephanie is one of our Program Coordinators for Advantage Therapy Centers, primarily working in our Mount Laurel and Cherry Hill offices. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Cabrini University in 1998 and has over 20 years of experience working in the healthcare industry, primarily in geriatrics. Stephanie joined our team in 2011, prior to, she was working for Assisted Living Facilities and Skilled Nursing facilities in long-term care, ventilation units and Alzheimer’s units.
As Program Coordinator, she work with patients and families to ensure their needs are addressed by providing education on disease and symptom management by providing them with access to community resources to meet their physical, psychological, social, or spiritual needs. She addresses patient-centered issues which will restore them to their highest level of functioning possible and provide them with the self-confidence to conduct their daily activities of life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three beautiful daughters.
